Terry's wedding

yesterday was my cousin's wedding...... i was her bridesmaid and violinist ....

i woke at 5.30am to prepare everything and to 'groom' myself.... then..i couldnt wake my dad up! i was supposed to reach her house at 7am to do makeup!!!... i left my house at 7am in the end and sped my way to her house... dad was screaming at me, ask me to drive slower... i told him, u made me late...

reached there... the makeup artists were doing makeup on the other 2 bridesmaid..so..i went down to have my breakfast first....

then... when it was my turn.... i saw them preparing the false eyelashes for me.. i was liike..... oh no man... i told them, can i not have them on me??? scary man... scared of that stuffs.. dun wish to lose my real lashes when i remove the falsies...

before they style my hair.......

i think it took almost half an hour to do makeup.. then... i have to wait for the hairstylist to do my hair..... it was 9am already when she did my hair!!!!! half way thru curling my hair.. we heard the groom's car horn. we're like....SHIT!!!!!

both of us start to panick.. ppl downstairs keep calling me...the only way i can make everybody calm is by saying... i'm nearly done!! when i'm still halfway curling....not yet setting my hair!! then... we heard the groom coming in already... other girls in the 'chip san leong' team shouted for my name.... i told them to go on without me first.....

then..when i'm done.... i rushed downstairs and took my rose and join in the team....
we, the chip san leong team are the girls who will stop the groom from going to the bride so easily. there's 8 of us. each of us holding a rose. he has to collect 8 roses in order to collect the ninth one which is in the bride's hand. so..which means he has to cross 8 obstacles....

then.. we rushed to the church.. i quickly set up my violin and tune my violin... din even practice with the band. i was thinking..shit.... hope i wont improvise wrongly later man.... dun wanna screw my cousin's wedding...

me and my cousin.. her dress...dresses were all designed and tailored made by eric chong. she had 2 in the morning and 3 at night... all these cost a bomb...

then..we rushed to the hotel.. Prince Hotel. we got a room and started to remove makeup, bathe and got ready to makeup for the night session...my last photo be4 i change my makeup to the night one...


then.... they styled my hair first for there wasnt enuf time since the hair styler was free... i got a shock when i saw my hairstlye..

i jumped up when i saw my makeup. i couldnt recognize myself!!!!!!

my hair from the back...the worst part of the dinner was when i need to escort a man up to do his speech. i had to wait near the stage... his speech damn long. my legs were already aching... wa... i was waiting for his speech to end. worst still, he got to speak in both languages. english and japanese. i was like... walau....my legs arrrr...

i KO and couldnt wake up for mass today morning. too tired man... my legs ache like hell too....

tomoro's my recital... i wonder how i'll feel tomoro... will i be able to eat my lunch???

i reach colllege at 6.30am today so that i can use the recital hall's piano...

it was still pitch dark when i reached...

no breathe of life..

the moon was still shining bright..

everywhere silence..not even the screech of a bug can be heard

no cars in the carpark..

as i step into block C.... there's nobody but me...

my footsteps echoed as i walk to the lift...

when i finally reached level 3...

there's nobody at all...

i walked into the recital hall and started my prelude and fugue eerily....

it was a great experience going to college soooo early with nobody there yet..will do it more often.....


i've finish working for this sem... can u believe it?? i finish 65 hrs in half a sem's time ( 7 weeks ). fast lerrrrrrrrr.... other scholarship students are shock when i told them i've completed my hours.. hahahhahahhahaa... it's all my hard work arrr...workind 6 hrs per day... work til my brain go kuku ....back ache. here ache. there ache..

next sem hv to work again...oh yux.....

towards the end of july....

time flies.......

july is crawling to the end...

which means..my recital date is drawing near.............

next thurs is my recital adi... !!!!! so fast... excited yet nervous.....
i'll be doing sth special... :)
to play baroque with a romantic touch...
in other words..

yeah..sth like tat....
i hope ppl wont boo me...

24th is my recital..

26th i'm gonna be bridesmaid... and violinist.. 2 in one go...

time flies...

i'm sick...fever for few days..coughing non stop...flu...ewww..i hate it..why must i be sick near exams time????? dun wanna cough during recital..add sound effects..hhahhaa

Fung Chern Hwei came to UCSI today..... to give masterclass.. hhahahaaha..i'm sooo happy tat i can melt!!!!!

my preparations :
1. charge my camera batteries 3 days ahead
2. got ready 2 spare memory card in case i take more than 5 Gb's pic
3. plead Shin Hong to bring his camera tooo....
4. tell my aural teacher to release me earlier so tat i can book a nice seat to take lots of his pics
5. call and make sure Shin Hong goes there early to book a seat for me and Sok Meng
6. plead Sok Meng to come so that she can help me get a few nice good shots of him

ok..so this was wat happen....

aural teacher let me go earlier...i was running up the stairs from 1st to 3rd floor.. flying up actually cuz Shin Hong was having trouble..dunno which seats to choose...
when i ran into the recital hall...walk towards the front seat.....i saw him..sitting there..i got a shock!!!!! din expect him to be sitting there.... i jumped up.. he also jumped in his seats... which means, he still recognize me!!!!!!!then , i approach him...

me : teacher??
him: ya
me : u still remember me??
him: of cuz laaaaaaa

i nearly melt.....

him: i met Dominic that day and we talked about u....

i lagi nearly melt....

then we started talking....talking...talking....i can really melt into water....

then,...the masterclass started... i sat behind him..
i kept taking lots lots lots of pics......

i went straight down to midvalley after class tat day to get a dress... plan to wear that for my recital too.... i pulled David to teman me... i need some comments for that dress before i buy it...

then...we had carl's jr burger... gosh.... it's sooo big till i eat til jaw-ache.. i'm serious. my teeth, gum, mouth aching... i hv to hang my mouth open to let it rest.... can u believe it???


then..we smuggled drinks into cinema.....we watched hancock.. damn funny..but some parts quite touching.....

in the lovely month of july

it's the month of July already.. it means, i'll get to see Fung Chern Hwei soon!!!! and it also means my recital date is drawing NEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've planned to play my Bach's prelude and fugue expressively. sth not baroque at all.. i'll use a Romantic period approach to that piece. kekekekekkekkekeke..... i've learned sth from Shin Hong.. eat bananas be4 recital...i'll bring one tandan of bananas on my recital day....
